239th Anniversary of the Battles of Saratoga
Date: September 17-18, 2016           Time: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM EDT
Location: Saratoga National Historical Park,   648 Route 32, Stillwater, NY

Large 18th-century American and British military camps feature nearly 200 soldiers helping set the 1777 scene with tents, campfires, cavalry troops, musket and cannon firings. Discuss the challenges of camp life with soldiers, officers, and camp followers; go on a reconnaissance party with soldiers; learn about army food, sewing, and cooking techniques. Event presented in partnership with the Brigade of the American Revolution.  Wreath laying by Daughters of the American Revolution and Sons of the American Revolution. All are welcome! Sunday, 2pm.
